  • Russian Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine in 7.62x54R. Manufactured in 1948 by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, with the accompanying Izhevsk arrow in a triangle stamped on the barrel shank.
  • Designed to replace the preexisting M38 Carbine in Soviet service, the M44 is another variation of the famous Mosin Nagant series of rifles. The M44 was only in production between 1943 and 1948, and was predominantly issued to rear-line personnel such as artillerymen in the Red Army, before being phased out and replaced.
  • This particular rifle is original and all-matching, and was produced in the last year of M44 production in the Soviet Union. It also comes with an original sling.
