  • FN Model 1922 Carbine in 7x57 Mauser. Produced by FN (Fabrique Nationale) in Herstal, Belgium as part of a contract of 20,000 rifles for the Brazilian Army and law enforcement bodies. This rifle has been fitted with a replacement stock, Dayton Traister Trigger, Low Swing Safety, and has been drilled and tapped with a scope mounted. It also maintains the original Brazilian crest beneath the scope mounts.
  • The FN Model 22 saw much use in Brazil due to the tenuous unrest and frequent revolutions which occurred during the First and Second Republican periods as well as the Vargas Era. As such, these rifles are incredibly hard to find. Any rifles which did survive were either scrapped, or made their way to the civilian market where they were converted into sporter rifles like this example.
