  • $4,00000

  • An original German Luger P08 pistol manufactured by Mauser-Werke's Oberndorf am Neckar factory. This is one of an estimated 86,270 - 92,300 Luger pistols manufactured by Mauser in 1936, with the toggle assembly stamped "S/42" (Mauser's factory code at the time) and the receiver stamped "1936."
  • The pistol was likely issued to the German army, as it lacks the alternative police, navy, or air force acceptance stamps. The proof marks on this pistol are the Weimar-style "drooped eagles" seen on German firearms both before 1933 and for a few short years immediately after. It also features the rare "straw finish" on small parts like the magazine release, safety, and take-down lever.
  • It comes with one original but non-matching German magazine made by Mauser, and two aftermarket magazines, both with wooden base plates.
