A Chinese Type 56 SKS manufactured in the People's Republic of China by Norinco's Factory 306 in 1973, with the left-hand side of the receiver bearing the text "306 五六式 " adjacent to the rifle's serial number.
This rifle has its original military-spec chrome-lined barrel, offering enhanced durability, corrosion resistance, and overall longevity of the barrel even if corrosive ammunition is used.
