- A Lee-Enfield No. 2 Mk. IV* training rifle converted from a SMLE No. 1 Mk. III rifle originally manufactured by Royal Small Arms Factory (RSAF) Enfield in 1915. The right-hand side of the receiver beneath the bolt bears the royal cypher of King George V, with "G.R. Enfield 1915 Sht. 22 IV*" written beneath it.
- In its original configuration as a No. 1 Mk. III rifle, this SMLE was likely used by the British Armed Forces during the First World War, before being converted into a training rifle sometime after 1921 to help recruits familiarise themselves with the SMLE and hone their marksmanship.
