A Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk. I* rifle manufactured in Canada by the Long Branch Arsenal in 1949. The left-hand side of the receiver bears the text "C No. 4 Mk. 1* Long Branch 1949."
This rifle is one of the few No. 4 Mk. I* Lee-Enfields manufactured after the Second World War by Long Branch. These rifles were only manufactured in Canada between 1949 and 1950.
