  • Swiss Schmidt–Rubin Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) straight-pull rifle chambered in 7.5x55 Swiss. Manufactured in 1917 by Eidgenössische Waffenfabrik Bern.
  • The K11 was a continuation of the earlier Schmidt–Rubin 1889 and 1889/96 rifles designed by Eduard Rubin and Rudolph Schmidt, and was developed in tandem with the longer Model 1911 Infantry Rifle.
  • The K11 quickly overtook the Model 1911 rifle in popularity though, thanks to its lighter overall weight and shorter length. This greatly influenced the design decisions made by the rifle's manufacturer, Waffenfabrik (W+F) Bern in the development of the Schmidt–Rubin Karabiner Model 31 (K31). The K11 remained in production from 1911 to 1933.
  • This particular K11 is in fantastic condition with a pristine barrel and matching serial numbers. It also comes with its original 6-shot magazine, the muzzle protector, and a sling.
