A century of the Old West, struck in gold and blued steel.

On June 25, 1876, the 7th Cavalry rode into legend at the Little Bighorn. One hundred years later, Winchester answered with this — the Model 1894 Little Big Horn Centennial, a carbine built to honor the men, the battle, and the lever gun that won the West. Gold-washed receiver, hand-engraved panels, a saddle ring and a 20″ barrel chambered in the iconic .44-40 WCF — this is the commemorative that collectors chase and shooters secretly want to run.

Why This One Belongs in Your Safe

  • Battle-honoring artistry — Gold-plated receiver with period engraving commemorating the 1876 Little Big Horn centennial, a genuine piece of American martial history rendered in steel and brass
  • The cowboy cartridge — Chambered in .44-40 Winchester Center Fire, the original frontier load that paired perfectly with the Colt Single Action Army
  • Carbine configuration — 20″ round barrel, saddle ring, and straight-grip stock built for the trail, the truck, and the display case
  • Collector-grade pedigree — A finite 1976 production run, with "LBH" serial prefix, making examples increasingly scarce on the open market
  • Shoot it or shelf it — Smooth, fast-cycling lever action that's as fun at the range as it is under glass

The Model 94 Legend

Introduced in 1894 and designed by John Browning, the Winchester Model 1894 became the most famous lever-action rifle ever made — the first commercial American repeater built for smokeless powder, and the rifle carried by ranchers, lawmen, and hunters for over a century. The Centennial edition takes that living legend and freezes it at its 100th birthday.
