I would normally choose a heavier projectile for a 280 AI but I have a Kimber which is fussy on projectile choice. These projectiles, like all Sieras, are very accurate. On pigs,goats and fallow deer they are faultless and appear to be an excellent balance of jacket thickness and core hardness for this size of animal. I would be comfortable using them on red deer but would probably prefer a more strongly constructed projectile of heavier weight on animals bigger than reds stags.
