The easiest, most convenient bench mounted priming tool ever. Symmetrical design allows effortless right or left hand operation. Comfortable lever with just the right amount of mechanical advantage effortlessly seats even the most difficult primers with just finger pressure. The perfect mechanical advantage to feel the primer seating completely home into the primer pocket. Includes priming assemblies for large and small primers. Made of a water clear tough polyester material that allows you to monitor the primers passage from the tray to the primer pocket. Change primer size of shell holder in seconds. Includes the new folding tray - go from box to priming in seconds. Tray has a built-in primer flipping feature allowing direct filling from today's large primer boxes. The tool mounting holes are spaced for the Lee Bench Plate system (#90251) or can be mounted directly to your workbench. Uses special, but inexspensive priming tool shell holders, so there's no need to endlessly swap press shell holders to prime.

      Lee Benchtop Priming Tool

Bought to reduce hand fatigue with hand priming tool.
I have found it works very well so far and does not require as much force.
Yes you have to "feel" the seating of the primer as you do with a handheld unit and occasionally tap the feeder tray to keep them coming.
      All good so far.

      Lee Benchtop Priming Tool

My Second Lee primer tool in 40 years of reloading, and without a doubt the best value for money priming tool and I use it for small and large rifle primers of most brands including Federal (including magnum), CCI and Winchester. I have bought Hornady, Lyman and RCBS some of which were a waste of money for priming cases. The Lee brand is often looked down upon because it's cheap but as I have come to know as with a lot of competition shooters/reloaders we will always have a Lee favorite tool which never lets us down even if our other tools are typically Redding, RCBS, Forster, Hornady, LE Wilson, etc.. As to the last reviewer, I am amazed at your negative comments "without ever being mounted to the bench or priming a single case" - give it a try, it may surprise you?
As always the guys at Rebels provide great service, competitive product pricing, and respond quickly to shipping products out.

      Some good Some bad

I bought this tool to fix the problem of fatigue while using the reloading press to put primers in.
The idea is terrific and easy to press the primers into the pocket BUT I'm having to constantly play with the lever to get the primers to go down the chute first. Also it says on the box that you can use all brands of primers but when you open the box and read the instructions you find a story on how Federal primers might blow up in it !!

Don't think I'll ever use this gizmo

I purchased this priming tool to load large pistol primers. My grandkids have toys that are more sturdy, and they are branded Lego!
After reading the notes I found in the box, I discovered a recommendation against using the tool to load Federal primers. I use Federal primers exclusively, and I have many 1000s of them.
I purchased it with my eyes open, but obviously not far enough open. It is now stored away with my collection of unused shooting treasures without ever being mounted to the bench or priming a single case.
I have absolutely no complaint about Rebel's service, you provided excellent service to get it to me very quickly, but in hindsight it is not the tool I should have purchased.

      Pretty average

It took me over an hour to get this thing to drop primers properly. It is an over engineered tool with the moving parts made of plastic. I don’t see it lasting very long. I won’t buy another, nor recommend it in any way....accept to someone I don’t like very much.
