- A Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) No. 1 Mk. III manufactured by the Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) in 1938 and pushed into Israeli service after the Second World War. The right-hand side of the receiver beneath the bolt bears the royal cypher of King George VI, with "GR B.S.A. Co 1938 Sht LE III" written beneath it.
- This rifle was issued in Israel some time after the Second World War, with the top of the receiver bearing a Hebrew Tzadik "צ" and a Star of David. The right-hand side of the butt-stock also has a brass disc with "17 IB" written inside it.
