This newly designed snap cap has an Internal Recoil Absorbing Primer (RAP) System which allows the snap cap to perform for years without breakage as is common with other brands of snap cap. The recoil absorbing primer also will not damage your firing pin and it gives close to live fire performance every time.

These Pro-Tactical snap caps also help to teach safe gun handling for new learning shooters as well as be used for function testing to make sure your mechanisms are working as they should.

Just like any other aluminium 22lr snap caps. Will deform if dry fired. Have dry fired all of them once. They all still cycle.

Pro-Tactical 22LR Snap Caps

I haven’t had a chance to use the Snap Caps at the range yet, but cycled them through my rifle at home. They went through the action and magazine smoothly, with out jamming. The red anodising makes them very obvious and they look like they will last well. No more worries about dry firing, if I forget how many shots I’ve fired, as the last round will be a snap cap.
