- A Portuguese Mauser–Vergueiro 1904/39 rifle manufactured by Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) between 1904-1907. The top of the receiver bears the royal crest of King Carlos I, while the left-hand side bears the text "Espingarda Portugueza 6.5 Mod. 1904" above the text "Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken Berlin."
- As this rifle bears the text "6.5 Mod. 1904", it was originally chambered in 6.5x58mm Verueiro and has been converted into 8x57 Mauser as the Portuguese adopted the newer m/937-pattern of rifles.
