Winchester Reloading Brass is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances to ensure smooth feeding and positive chambering. Consistent case-to-case weight and capacity delivers outstanding accuracy. Winchester's high quality, durable brass can be reloaded several times. New, unprimed brass. This is not loaded ammunition.

Preparation:
Due to the manufacturing process and/or shipping, case mouths may not be perfectly round. To ensure a round case mouth, cases must be sized (or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through case neck) and deburred/Chamfered prior to loading.

Note:
A light "staining" may be found on the case neck of new brass. This is due to annealing. Annealing is a process, performed by the manufacturer, which involves rapid heating to a specified temperature followed by rapid cooling. This process imparts cases with the proper hardness to securely hold a bullet as well as gives flexibility to expand and contract upon firing and repeated forming. The "staining" is a residue from this process. This stain may be removed by tumbling before loading. Brass should be full-length sized, trimmed and chamfered before loading.

Good value for eveyday use

I received the shipment promptly. My 6.5 x 55 rifle came with some Lapua cases which I use at the range, but I wanted some cheaper cases for hunting where they are likely to be lost. I am using Winchester cases in some of my other rifles (several 303s, 308, 485) and have no complaints. I do neck anneal to extend case life. They are significantly better than some other brands in the same price range.

Great for the price

I don't think anyone could criticize Rebel Gun Works excellent service and price. The price i paid for this brass i am more than happy. I think the Winchester brass is ok, I have used there brass for many years and have no problems. If you want perfect brass pay three times or more and as they say you get what you pay for.

Good value, average quality

Rebel shipped this item promptly and without any issues.
Like with other Winchester brass there was a lot of variability in flash hole size, primer pocket dimensions and case length. I have always had great case life from Winchester brass so if you're prepared to put the work into each case (including annealing, neck turning and trimming once fire formed) then this brass is good value and long lasting. Whilst the spec's are inconsistent the metallurgy of the brass is very good. Hope this helps potential buyers.
