Highly resistant and flexible it is screwed to a wooden handle with a particular inlet system which considerably reduces break possibilities of the thread end. At the opposite end, assembled there is a brass jag (male) 5MA threaded (also available the conversion 10-32 - USA 738). To the jag you can assemble all various accessories for the loading and cleaning of the rifle. The rod is complete with a nylon muzzle protector and a brass jag.

    The Rod itself is great but the Covering was not so good, we have re wrapped it and it’s fine now... Covering could be a little more robust!.
    The Service as always was great and Peter Bruce is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to deal with... Makes the almost two hour drive worth while!

    Excellent fast service for one of the most beautifully crafted modern replicas I have seen.
    The jager has a excellent balance point for aim and handling. Furthermore the rather straight in line butt of the weapon brings the eye straight to the sights.
    Peter Bruce is also excellent to deal with.
