Sierra's 77-grain MatchKing was designed with Service Rifle competitions in mind, to allow seating adhering to an OAL that permits cartridges to be loaded into AR15-pattern magazines. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing and bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1:8” or faster.
