The Timney replacement trigger for the Browning X-Bolt rifle is single stage trigger with a pull weight adjustment from 1 ½ - 4 pounds.  The Timney replacement trigger does not lock the bolt.

The newest addition to the Customer Choice series of Timney Triggers is finally here. The Timney replacement trigger for the Browning X-Bolt rifle is the latest in the Timney featherweight model featuring a pull weight that is factory calibrated for an 3 pound weight of pull.  The Timney Browning X-Bolt Trigger is fully adjustable for Sear Engagement (Creep), over travel (Follow through) and pull weight.

The Timney Browning X-Bolt Trigger was tested on numerous models of Browning X-bolt to ensure the proper fit and ease of installation on all models.

Timney Trigger lives up to its reputation

I purchased a Timney trigger for my Browning X-Bolt rifle in .223 Rem calibre because of the reputation that Timney triggers have world-wide.
I was not disappointed! The trigger fitted perfectly to the action and did not need any adjustment to the stock. I reduced the trigger weight to my preferred weight of 1.0kg and it is crisp and breaks clean and consistently. I highly recommend the Timney trigger for the Browning X-Bolt rifle.

Received the trigger 48hrs from the order.

Had to file down a section of the McMillan stock so the safety bail arm could freely move. For info, the bolt release button no longer works. However, even with the safety engaged, the bolt can still be opened.

Adjusted the trigger to 1.5lbs and it's amazing. Crisp and consistent. Highly recommended.

Easy To Install, Required Minor Stock Alteration.

Installation is simple and adjusting trigger weight is easy. Timney trigger is slightly wider than the factory trigger making for a tight fit in the factory supplied McMillan stock on a Hell's Canyon Long Range. Fit was tight enough that the saftey couldn't be moved.
Used a Dremel to make a little extra space for the saftey lever/bar and all good. A minor inconvenience for getting a much improved trigger.
