Don't be fooled by the "Pistol Match Special" name, this ammo shoots suberbly in nearly all of my target 22 rifles and when considering price vs performance, this ammo is outstanding value and with consistency that disproves that match capable ammo must be expensive! Further, whenever anybody at my local range complains about their own rimfire rifle shooting poorly, I offer them 10 rounds of this ammo and in 8 out of 10 tests, will be rewarded with a comment to the effect of "that is the best group I have shot all day". Naturally, I can whole heartedly recommend this German made ammo highly! These good shooting results generally hold true for the entire SK range and SK is by no means, the poor mans' Lapua (who are the owners of SK). I use this ammo for benchrest, training and for our long range silhouette match, where we shoot at 100m, 200m and 300 yards and this ammo is comfortably capable at each distance. I have only chronographed this Pistol Match Special ammo once, but out of my Weihrauch HWJM66 rifle, it averages around 1080fps and with an extreme spread of less than 20fps. Buy this ammo with complete confidence - I just wish SK would make a high velocity hollow point round for hunting!
