This sear and spring kit will make an amazing difference in the feel of your rifle's trigger. You'll have a clean break of around 1.5 - 2 pounds. Takes a few minutes to fit the sear to the rifle and you may have to do a bit of filing. Fits the Ruger 77/22, 77/17, 77/40 and 77/50.

Timney 77/22 Sear & Spring Kit

With a standard 4.5lb trigger pull I had high hopes of this Timney upgrade - sadly the trigger is no better & is heavier now. What a disappointment for a $100+ investment. Maybe the wrong spring was in the kit that was packed at 4.59 on a Friday - back to the drawing board - sorry I cannot recommend which is a shame as Timney usually excellent & has never let me down before.

Great product

Very simple to install - 10 minutes. Noticeable improvement. Great experience yet again from Rebel Gunworks 10/10

Ruger 77/22 sear & spring

This Timney product was a quick & simple improvement to my old 77/22, it reduced the trigger pull by at least 50%, there is no creep in the trigger and it still breaks cleanly, just at about 2lbs. Installation was simple, however I would recommend you watch one of the many YouTube videos on the subject as it is much more clearer than the written instructions which are a bit convoluted. I have heard that you may need to file part of the sear down in order for the safety to work properly, however in my case after installation the safety was a bit stiff on release, but after about 1/2 dozen cycles it is now fine.

Exellent product , trigger now way better

Thumbs up

I would call the Timney Adjustable Trigger an adjustable sear, but whatever it is called, the result is my 77/22 stock trigger - which was off the scale of my Lyman digital trigger gauge - was brought down to an acceptable 2.5 lbs, with just a tad of creep. No filing, slipped straight in.
