The Brno ZH-304 is a classic Czechoslovakian combination gun, manufactured by the renowned Zbrojovka Brno factory. Developed as part of the ZH series of sporting firearms, these combination guns were designed to provide hunters with the versatility of both a shotgun and a centrefire rifle in a single firearm. Known for their robust construction, practical design and quality European craftsmanship, the Brno ZH series has earned a strong reputation among traditional sporting firearm enthusiasts.

This firearm is chambered in 12 Gauge / 7×57R Mauser, featuring an over-and-under barrel configuration with a 12 Gauge smoothbore barrel below a 7×57R rifled barrel. The 23.5-inch barrels retain their traditional blued finish, complemented by the original factory walnut stock and fore-end. The timber features classic European sporting styling, providing an attractive and practical combination suited to traditional hunting applications.

The firearm retains its factory open sights, allowing the rifle barrel to be used without the need for an optical sight. The 12 Gauge barrel is chambered for 2¾-inch cartridges, while the above rifled barrel is chambered in the respected 7×57R Mauser cartridge. The rimmed 7×57R was specifically developed for use in break-action sporting rifles and combination guns, offering moderate recoil and excellent versatility for hunting applications.

Presenting in very good condition, this Brno ZH-304 retains its traditional appearance, with blued metalwork and original walnut furniture. Its combination of Czechoslovakian manufacturing quality, practical dual-calibre configuration and classic European styling makes it an appealing example of a traditional continental hunting firearm.
