The CZ 452-2E ZKM American is a well-regarded Czech-made bolt-action rimfire rifle, recognised for its excellent accuracy, traditional construction and dependable performance. Manufactured by Česká Zbrojovka, the CZ 452 series earned a strong reputation among sporting shooters and small-game hunters for its quality workmanship, robust steel action and consistent shooting characteristics. Now discontinued and succeeded by later CZ rimfire models, the original 452 series remains popular with enthusiasts who appreciate its traditional design and solid construction.

This rifle is chambered in .17 HMR and features the classic American-pattern walnut stock with a straight comb, chequered pistol grip, blued steel barrel and receiver, and detachable box magazine. Unlike the European-style 452 variants, the American model was designed primarily for use with a telescopic sight and features a clean, streamlined barrel without factory iron sights.

The walnut stock displays attractive grain and retains its original traditional styling, with a black recoil pad and sling swivel studs fitted. As visible in the photographs, the timber exhibits a number of handling marks, scratches and minor dents consistent with previous use, particularly around the fore-end and action area. The blued metalwork presents well overall, with some visible signs of use and finish wear.
