The Savage Model 24J-DL is a classic American-made over-and-under combination gun, representing one of Savage Arms' most recognisable and versatile sporting firearm designs. Developed as part of the long-running Model 24 series, these combination guns were intended to provide the practicality of both a rimfire rifle and a shotgun in a single firearm. The Deluxe (DL) variants offered more decorative finishes and upgraded timber appointments compared with the standard models.

This rifle is chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire over 20 Gauge, featuring a rifled upper barrel and smoothbore lower barrel in the traditional Savage combination configuration.
