Manufactured by Pietro Beretta in Italy, the Beretta S687 EL Gold Pigeon is a premium over-and-under sporting shotgun that combines Beretta's renowned mechanical reliability with traditional Italian craftsmanship and elegant finishing. Part of the highly regarded 680-series family, the Gold Pigeon represents an upmarket sporting configuration, distinguished by its decorative engraving, quality walnut furniture and refined presentation.
This shotgun is chambered in 12 Gauge with 3" (76 mm) chambers and features 28" ventilated-rib barrels fitted with Beretta interchangeable chokes, providing versatility across a range of clay target and field shooting applications. The shotgun features an attractively engraved silver-finished receiver with detailed game scenes and ornamental scrollwork, complemented by a gold-coloured trigger and richly figured walnut furniture.
The S687 EL Gold Pigeon is built around Beretta's proven low-profile boxlock action, incorporating the robust locking system and dependable construction for which the 680-series shotguns are well known. Its balanced design and relatively low action profile contribute to natural handling, while the single selective trigger and automatic ejectors provide convenient operation.
The shotgun features a finely chequered walnut pistol-grip stock with raised comb and matching fore-end. The attractive grain, polished blued barrels and detailed receiver engraving give the Gold Pigeon a distinctive appearance, reflecting its position among Beretta's higher-grade sporting shotguns.
This shotgun come with a full set of Beretta interchangeable chokes, blue Beretta hardcase, Beretta-branded protective sleeves, spare recoil pad and accompanying accessories and documentation, as pictured.
