The Winchester Model 94 Oliver F. Winchester Commemorative is a distinctive limited-production lever-action rifle released in 1980 to commemorate Oliver Fisher Winchester, the businessman whose name became synonymous with the Winchester repeating rifle. It formed part of Winchester’s extensive commemorative program, through which specially finished Model 94s were produced to recognise significant figures, events and periods in American and Winchester history.

Only 19,999 examples of the Oliver F. Winchester Commemorative were produced, all during 1980, making this rifle approximately 46 years old. The commemorative was based on the Model 94 action and chambered in the historically appropriate .38-55 Winchester, a cartridge with roots dating to the 1870s that was one of the original chamberings offered in Winchester's Model 1894. The commemorative was configured as a rifle with a 24-inch octagonal barrel, rather than the more common carbine configuration. 

This firearm features the model's elaborate gold-coloured receiver, lever and fore-end cap, with extensive commemorative engraving contrasting against the blued barrel and magazine tube. The barrel carries the “Oliver F. Winchester” inscription in gold script, while an inset commemorative medallion depicting Oliver Winchester is fitted to the buttstock.
