- A collapsible Type 2 Paratrooper Arisaka rifle manufactured by the Nagoya Arsenal's Toriimatsu Factory sometime between 1943 and 1945 and issued to Imperial Japanese paratroopers during the Second World War. The top of the receiver has had the chrysanthemum removed, and is stamped with the Japanese characters indicating 'Type 2' beneath it. The left-hand side of the receiver is stamped with the rifle's serial number, and the Nagoya Arsenal stamp.
- This rifle's takedown screw, barrel, barrel plate, and receiver plate all share the same rifle number of "535." It is estimated that only 19,000 to 21,500 of these Type 2 Paratrooper Arisakas were ever manufactured, and very few remain in original condition like this one.
- These rifles were issued to the 'Teishin Shudan' of the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force and the marine paratroopers of the 'Rikusentai', belonging to the Imperial Japanese Navy's Special Naval Landing Forces.
