Rim diameter variation

I know this is not a forum, but as I do not know how to contact Craig du Preez, I would like to offer my solution about the variance in rim diameter he experienced. I had/have the same problem with some Geco cases. My fix was to change the 9.3 shell holder to the one for my 6.5 x 55 SM and bingo; the extra 10 thou works perfectly and no more tight cases!

Sellior & Bellot Rim Variances

The cases on face value look great. The only issue were some variances in the case rim thickness. This was apparent when sliding the cases into a #3 RCBS shellholder which is the recommended shellholder size by RCBS for the 9.3x62mm. Some of the cases needed a lot of force to slide them in which slows down the reloading process other cases were fine. I have not experienced this problem before possibly it was a batch of cases?
